Generally not crowded, pretty spot as is the drive to get there. Clean beach and clean restrooms.

This location has TONS of growing up memories for me and ones that I am proudly passing on to my kids!
It can get crowded in peak Summer and parking can be a hassle. So do what everyone does, get their early and stay the whole day.
Good clean facilities and awesome mix of locals and travelers. It feels far away from everything and thats what makes it feel so special.
Nice spot. We went to the recreation area and beach. Nice clean facilities, bathroom available. Lifeguard present. We visited and then held a birthday party there a week later. No pavilion available, so we had to bring our own awnings, but that was fine. Several picnic tables and a few grills installed. No floatation toys allowed except for lifevests, which was a little disappointing for the kids. Volleyball court and fishing available. It's a bit of a small area, but nice. Wish there was a pavilion, larger beach, more grills, and more picnic tables.
Swimming area is small, not too many picnic tables, no trash bins.
